Russ Allison Portrait

Russ Allison is a consultant and coach focused on helping leaders and organizations be more effective.  Convinced that innovation and best practices are most useful only when put into concrete action, Russ brings a business-minded grasp of psychology research to the table and partners with clients to take specific steps that improve performance.  From small private companies to global multi-nationals, he has consulted with industries as diverse as entertainment, consumer electronics, defense, retail, financial services, and high tech.

Previously, Russ was a successful member of Personnel Decisions International, a global leadership consulting firm for nearly a decade, specializing in executive assessment, business coaching, and integrated talent management initiatives. During that time, he personally assessed hundreds of leaders across industries and built a deep knowledge of methods and techniques to help leverage strengths and mitigate weaknesses.  Later, he led the assessment and coaching function for Hewlett-Packard and built an assessment and development strategy for the top 35,000 leaders of the company.  Russ has run his own firm since 2010 and spends most of his time assessing and coaching executives to become better leaders for their companies and for their own career goals. He holds a M.S. Ed and Ph.D. from the University of Southern California.
