Ilana Ash manages the Americas Funds and Investment Management teams in Credit Risk Management and Advisory (CRMA). She serves on both the Investment Management Division Risk and Private Wealth Management Risk Committees. Ilana is also a member of the Securities Division Operating Committee and the Investment Management Operating Committee within CRMA. Previously, she managed the Credit Derivatives team within CRMA from 2004 to 2008. Prior to that, Ilana held various roles on other teams within CRMA, including serving as a senior member of the Consumer Retail team. She joined Goldman Sachs in 1998 as an associate and was named managing director in 2011. Ilana serves on the Finance Women’s Network Steering Committee at Goldman Sachs and also co-heads the board of the Capital Markets Credit Analysts Society, a non-profit professional organization for credit analysts.
Prior to joining the firm, Ilana worked at KPMG in Structured Finance from 1992 to 1996. Ilana earned an MBA in Finance from Columbia Business School in 1998 and a BA in Economics from The University of Michigan in 1992. She and her husband, David, have three children and live in Short Hills, New Jersey.
