Ms. Miller is currently a Managing Director and the Global Head of Loan Syndications for Scotiabank based in New York. She manages a team responsible for structuring and underwriting senior debt and bridge capital for a vast array of clients around the globe. With teams in New York, Toronto, London, Mexico City, Hong Kong and Singapore she is engaged in raising debt capital in all of the world’s major financial centers.

Ms. Miller’s career in banking began in 1982 with Continental Bank, and then moved to Harris Bank in Chicago as VP of the Asia Pacific Group. From 1988 to 2000 Ms. Miller had various roles at TD Bank – including Global Head of Loan Syndications. She also served as Managing Director and Co-Head of Loan Capital Markets for Merrill Lynch & Co. in New York from 2000 to 2002.

Amy received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Lewis & Clark College in 1980, majoring in international affairs. She went on to Columbia University earning a Master’s degree in International Affairs/International Business in 1982.

Ms. Miller was a member of the Board of Directors for the Loan Sales and Trading Association and is currently a member of the Board of Trustees of Lewis and Clark College. She is on the Finance Committee of the Women’s Forum in NYC and is an active member of The Hunger Project. She and her husband have two sons.
