Julie Persily retired from a career in investment banking and now serves as an independent director on the boards of several small public companies. Julie’s investment banking career started at Drexel Burnham Lambert where she was an analyst in Corporate Finance. After business school, Julie spent ten years at Bankers Trust where she provided high yield and leveraged loan financing to financial sponsors seeking commitments to fund leveraged buyouts. Julie went on to become Head of Acquisition Finance and then Co-Head of Leveraged Finance at Citigroup where she worked for another ten years, followed by a position as Head of Leveraged Finance at Nomura.
Julie earned an MBA in Finance and Accounting from Columbia Business School and a BA in Psychology and Economics from Columbia College of Columbia University.
Julie’s personal interests include extensive world travel, creative cooking, philanthropy and theater appreciation.
